Roof Trim & Fascias

  • You can boost your home’s kerb appeal and give it the perfect professional finish with our range of high-quality roof trim and fascias. With a range of colours and styles available, you’re sure to find one to suit your property.

Roof trim is fitted along the length of your home, which provides a stylish, neat finish. It helps protect your roof from moisture and can improve your energy efficiency.

Fascias can be spotted at the bottom edge of your roof. These boards are fitted to the front and back of your property, and stop damp and moisture getting into your rafters, as well as supporting the bottom roof tiles and providing a solid base to install your guttering. Fascias are important for preventing rot.

We manufacture roof trim and fascias to your exact measurements to get the perfect fit, so you get the most from these products. You can choose from many styles, including bright colours to add character and personality, crisp white for a contemporary look, or darker tones to blend into your home’s tiling and brickwork.

Common Questions

What is a fascia?

A fascia is a board that you can see on the exterior of your home, running along the roofline. It’s used to create a foundation to install your gutters, and it also helps to protect your property from damp and moisture. Fascias also create a neat finish to your home’s exterior. Older, wooden fascias can easily rot and not only look messy, but also let damp into your home, so they are worth replacing once they look worn. What is a roof trim?

When we talk about roof trim, this actually includes many different products that protect your home and improve its exterior styling. This includes fascias, cladding, soffits, downpipes and guttering, all of which help protect the edges of the roof from damp and moisture. If damp gets into your home, over time, it can lead to rot which can threaten your property’s structural integrity. This is why it’s so important to pay attention to your roof trim and get it replaced when it’s worn.

What is the difference between bargeboard, soffit and fascias?

Bargeboards are used on the gable end of your house, which is the part where the pitched roof meets to make a triangle shape. They can prevent water getting into your home’s interior, and also create a stylish finish, with lots of design options available. Your fascias also protect your roof from the elements, running alongside the lower edge of the roof and providing support for lower tiles, while also creating a place for guttering to be affixed. You can usually see your soffits from the ground, they connect your fascias to the wall. All of these products work together to weatherproof your home and ensure it’s comfortable.

How long do roof trim and fascias last?

If you choose quality roof trim and fascias, they can potentially last for many years, especially if you choose a long-lasting PVCu option. Older properties tend to have wooden roof trim and fascias, and while these can look nice, they lose their effectiveness much faster and require more maintenance. PVCu roof trim is available in many colours and finishes, and once installed, looks good for years.
