Your home is somewhere that reflects your personality, so when you want to make home improvements, they need to be individual to you. That’s why we offer the option of bespoke conservatories, for those who need something different and want the perfect match for their property.
You can choose from a range of conservatory styles, which can be made in P, L, or T shapes, depending on what works with your outdoor space. Our conservatories can be manufactured to any size you like, so no home is too big or small for a conservatory, and they’re a good way to make the most of unused space in your garden.
Conservatories can be great for creating extra living space, whether you turn them into an extra living room, a dining area, or somewhere to sit and watch the sun go down. They allow you to enjoy your garden year-round, while being protected from the British weather.
They’re also ideal for extending and bringing natural light into dark rooms. If you have an adjoining room that looks a little claustrophobic, then a conservatory can make it look a lot brighter and more spacious. You’ll no doubt appreciate the extra natural light that floods into your home.

What is a bespoke conservatory?
A bespoke conservatory is one that has been designed especially for you. At St. Ives Windows, we offer a huge range of conservatory styles, all of which can be personalised to suit you. However, sometimes you may need something designed from scratch just for your home. You can choose options such as whether to have a dwarf wall or whether to opt for a tiled or glass roof. If you have an unusually-shaped house or garden, we can design something that fits your space perfectly. Our brochures are full of style inspiration, or you can visit our showroom and decide what might suit your home.
Can my bespoke conservatory be built with cornices?
St. Ives Windows can offer you lots of options for fitting cornices to your bespoke conservatory. Cornices are a ledge which runs around your conservatory, adding an elegant finish. It can give your conservatory a wow factor, and also helps hide guttering and ensure your conservatory has clean lines. You can choose single tier cornices for a contemporary finish, or more ornate triple tier cornices to make more of a statement. Speak to our team about adding cornices to your property.
Can my bespoke conservatory use decorative glass?
When we design your conservatory, you have the option to use decorative glass however you wish. We offer a range of designs, from classic looks to completely bespoke options, so you can get the stylish finish you want. St. Ives Windows can also make leaded glass to your specifications, with the lead detailing inside the window panes for a smoother finish. Want to find out what designs we can offer you? What material is best for building a bespoke conservatory?
Your bespoke conservatory can potentially be built with a range of different materials. PVCu is still one of the most popular options, and if you don’t like the classic white colour, you can opt for modern anthracite grey or a woodgrain finish that looks just like timber. Aluminium is an elegant option, with sleek, thin frames that allow more natural light in your home and better views of the outside space. Timber conservatories are becoming a less common sight, as they require more maintenance, but if you need a timber conservatory for a period home, we can create that for you to your specifications.
